Utah Healing Center is so excited to welcome our newest team member, Josh Childs, LCSW. As an LCSW, Josh can assess, diagnose, and treat individuals and families with mental health issues using his full scope of therapeutic skills. Josh has extensive education in child development, mental health assessment, diagnosis of mental health conditions, psychotherapy, patient evaluations, and consultations. Josh received his Master’s of Social Work degree from Brigham Young University and has extensive work history with children, adolescents, and adults with addictions and disabilities. While earning his Bachelor’s Degree at Utah State Josh also received a Minor in Spanish. His Spanish speaking skills in therapy will be a great asset to the clients, families, and staff of the Utah Healing Center! He will be available for appointments in the evenings part time. We are so excited to welcome and introduce another new team member, Alison Dinkelman, CSW. As a CSW, Alison can also assess, diagnose, and treat individuals, families, and groups with mental health issues using her full scope of therapeutic skills. Alison has extensive education in child development, mental health assessment, diagnosis of mental health conditions, psychotherapy, patient evaluations, and consultations from her experience working at Primary Children’s Medical Center and the Department of Child and Family Services (DCFS). Alison received her Master’s of Social Work degree from the University of Utah and has extensive work history with children, adolescents and their families who are involved with DCFS and foster care, adoption, kinship, and reunification divisions. Alison is currently completing training specifically geared toward children and adolescents facing issues related to grief and loss. Alison’s experience with children, adolescents, and their families will be a great asset to the Utah Healing Center! She will be available for appointment full time.
